6. Blend Matching Through Coffee Cupping
Our master cuppers give us
the unique ability to match the taste
of any blend on the market, or to
develop a new blend for you. A prospective client recently submitted our
blend match of a national gourmet retail roaster to an independent food
laboratory and found "no identifiable difference between the two
blends." This involved duplication of blend (taste profile), roast
coloration, bean size and appearance, density, and moisture content. We have
a library of matched blends of most popular brands of coffee.

7. Exceptional Pricing
We have a smooth, low-overhead operation
strategically located in London, Ontario. This central location not only reduces freight costs, but as a
privately held firm, we do not have to answer to anyone as to the margins we
maintain. Our central overhead is spread among many market segments so that
no one section has to bear the full overhead burden. Prices can always be
quoted in cents-per-pound markup over roasted cost, which cost can be pegged
to the current green coffee market, giving you an objective standard by
which to measure your purchase price.

We have been the industry’s leading advocates
of private labeling and the use of exclusive brands. With your own brand you
can, if you wish, enter the entire away-from-home market, supplying coffee

11. Contract Pricing
A number of details including blend costs, case
counts, bag weights, proposed volumes and freight all can affect our price to
you. Our quotations relate to the futures market and we usually carry a three
month green inventory to protect our customers against any anomalies in the
green market, by pricing on a 90-day moving averages approach. We are able to guarantee prices for up to one year through green
contract purchases.
